How accurate are AetherCast weather forecasts?
Our forecasts are among the most accurate in the industry, utilizing advanced modeling techniques and real-time data assimilation. For the current day, our temperature forecasts are accurate within 2°F 90% of the time. Accuracy decreases slightly with longer-range forecasts, as is typical with all weather prediction systems.
What's the difference between your free and premium services?
Our free service provides basic weather information including current conditions, 24-hour forecasts, and 7-day outlooks. Premium subscribers receive additional features like minute-by-minute precipitation forecasts, historical weather data, advanced radar tools, and customizable alerts. Premium also removes all advertisements.
How often is your weather data updated?
Current conditions are updated every 5 minutes from our network of weather stations and partner sources. Forecast models are run at least four times daily (00Z, 06Z, 12Z, and 18Z). During severe weather events, we may update certain forecasts more frequently as conditions warrant.
